1. About this policy
This privacy policy describes what information ACTsavi ("we," "our," "us") collects when you visit actsavi.com, how that information is used, and what choices you have. ACTsavi is a technology consulting practice based in Los Angeles, California, operated by Savi Computer Works LLC.
We collect the minimum data required to run this site and respond to inquiries. We do not sell your personal information, we do not operate a newsletter or mailing list, and we do not maintain a separate customer database. Contact form submissions are retained only as email in ACTsavi's inbox.
2. Information we collect
Contact form submissions. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message. Your submission is sent to us securely and arrives as an email in our inbox. That inbox is the only place it is kept. There is no customer database, no marketing platform, and no mailing list. We use your information only to respond to you.
Website analytics (only with your consent). If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, what kind of device and browser they use, roughly what city or region they are in, and how they found the site. This information is anonymous and aggregated. It does not tell us who you are. If you click Necessary Only, or ignore the banner, no analytics data is collected from your visit.
Appointment scheduling (optional). If you book a consultation through the calendar button, the booking happens on Google Calendar under Google's privacy policy, and Google may set its own cookies within its booking window. We receive the calendar appointment and an email notification, and nothing more.
Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, the services that host and deliver this site (Google and Cloudflare) automatically keep routine technical logs, such as the address a request came from and when it was made. Those logs stay with the providers under their own privacy policies. We do not use them to track or identify visitors.
Search statistics. We use Google Search Console to see overall statistics about how people find this site through Google Search. It does not collect any personal information from visitors.
3. How we use your information
- Contact form data is used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list, share your contact information with third parties, or use it for any purpose other than replying to you.
- Analytics data (when collected with consent) is used to understand overall traffic patterns and improve the site. We cannot and do not identify individual visitors from it.
- Routine server logs are used by our service providers to run and secure their services. We do not use them at all.
4. Cookies and consent
When you visit this site for the first time, a cookie banner appears with two options: Accept or Necessary Only. Your choice is saved in your browser so the banner does not reappear on every visit.
If you click Accept: Google Analytics is turned on with privacy-protective settings. Your full IP address is hidden from us, advertising features are turned off, and your visit is not used for cross-site tracking or ad targeting. The analytics cookies contain a random identifier used only to count visits, and they expire after no more than two years.
If you click Necessary Only (or ignore the banner): No analytics runs and this site sets no cookies. The only thing saved on your device is your banner choice, so we do not ask you again.
To change your choice: Clear your browsing data for actsavi.com and the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also install Google's analytics opt-out browser add-on, which blocks Google Analytics on every site that uses it.
5. Third-party services
This site relies on the following services. Each is subject to its own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics for anonymous website statistics. Runs only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. Google Privacy Policy.
- Contact form delivery (Google Cloud). Your form submission is securely forwarded to us as an email. Nothing is stored along the way. Google Privacy Policy.
- Website hosting and delivery (Google and Cloudflare). These services deliver the site, its fonts, and its styling to your browser, and keep routine technical logs. Google Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google Calendar for optional consultation booking. Booking happens on Google's service. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Search Console for overall search statistics. It collects no personal information from visitors.
Google Ads. We are not currently running Google Ads. If we advertise in the future, we may add advertising cookies to measure how well the ads work. Those cookies would follow the same consent banner described in Section 4 and would run only after you click Accept. We will update this policy if that happens.
6. Data retention
- Contact form submissions stay in our email inbox until you ask us to delete them. Email info@actsavi.com and we will remove your submission.
- Analytics data is automatically deleted by Google Analytics after two months.
- Routine server logs are kept by our hosting and delivery providers under their standard policies.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. The only parties that may process data related to your visit are the service providers listed in Section 5, and only for the operational purposes described in this policy. No personal data collected through this site is shared with any other party.
8. Your rights
You have the right to know what personal information ACTsavi holds about you, to request that it be deleted or corrected, and to opt out of any data collection that is not required for the site to function.
California residents (CCPA). Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information has been collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Delete personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. ACTsavi does not sell or share personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@actsavi.com with the subject line "California Privacy Rights Request." We will respond within 45 days of receipt. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To withdraw analytics consent, clear your browsing data for actsavi.com as described in Section 4. The banner will reappear and you can select Necessary Only.
9. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through this site, contact us at info@actsavi.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
All connections to this site are encrypted, and the site uses browser security protections that limit what code is allowed to run on it. Contact form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and end up only in our email inbox.
We collect only the data necessary to operate this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we apply reasonable technical measures to protect the information we handle.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
